CANOE TREE is DartFrog’s program for self-publishing authors who want a professional turnkey solution to the design, production and positioning of their book. We assign ISBNs, format the interior, design the cover and upload the approved files to the author’s own Amazon (print & ebook), Ingram (print) and Smashwords (ebook) accounts, ensuring that the author maintains total control of and direct access to their own files at all times. We optimize the finished book for Amazon to achieve full engagement with their algorithms, and we take no cut of royalties. All sales reports and royalty payments go directly to the author.

What People are Saying

I had self-published before with another company but did not like being kept out of the accounts where the book was listed. I did not have access to the Amazon account where the book was, and the other company forced me to receive books via an in-house press. After looking around I found DartFrog by accident, and found them to be not only more affordable, but far more engaging during the publishing process. When they were done setting up the KDP and Ingram Spark accounts (in my own name), they forked them over to me and told me to change my password. Through DartFrog I have complete control of my books and accounts, letting me do deals, adverts, etc. And, saving a thousand dollars didn't hurt either.

I worked with Canoe Tree Press coordinator Suanne Laqueur on this book. I found her to be highly professional, efficient, knowledgeable, timely, and kept me informed throughout the entire course of my publishing journey. This was the very first time I used a self-publishing firm and found it to be totally worthwhile either for a novice or established author. I plan to use them once again soon.
