Through our sister PR company, Red Clover Digital, authors have the opportunity to engage social media influencers. If your book is selected, Red Clover will also tell you which influencer program(s) they think fit best. Their influencers include bloggers, instagram influencers (bookstagrammers), You Tube influencers (BookTubers) and TikTok influencers (BookTokers). After selection, they will begin matching your book to influencers in their network. A campaign is launched when 5 influencers accept the invitation to read your book.
Often the best way to promote your book is through an honest and personal review. The bookstagrammers Red Clover works with have built Instagram audiences they know and who trust their opinions on books.
The combined total reach of the 250+ bookstagrammers in Red Clover’s network is 1.6 million readers.
The bloggers in Red Clover’s network have also built their own unique audiences (the combined total reach of all bloggers in their network is 600,000 readers) who trust their opinions on books. Sometimes the specific interests of the bloggers allows Red Clover to launch more targeted campaigns, such as a children’s book campaign through the “mommy bloggers” in the network.
BOOKTUBERS & BOOKTOKERS
Red Clover is expanding their network to include book influencers on YouTube and TikTok. Campaigns on these platforms are handled differently because the video format is so unlike the static text format. Rather than posting a review, for example, a TikToker may post a 30 second skit to engage their audience in a story that turns out to be a promo for a book.
