Gordon McClellan
Founder/Publisher
Gordon McClellan began DartFrog to help independent authors gain access to bookstores, and grew it to an award-winning publishing & book marketing company with an "Excellent" rating from the Alliance of Independent Authors.
Mumtaz Mustafa
Hybrid & Traditional Cover Design
Mumtaz Mustafa is the Senior Art Director at HarperCollins, for whom she has designed the covers of many bestselling books over the last 20+ years. She also works with DartFrog, designing the covers for our DF Hybrid and DF Blue covers.
Zoe Sandler
Market Identification & Strategy
Zoe Sandler brings 15 years of experience as a literary agent working with Big Five publishers. She’s represented New York Times and National Bestsellers, award winners, and a Reese's Book Club pick. She evaluates market positioning for all DartFrog hybrid and traditional titles.
Corey Stewart
Director of Editorial
In addition to awards for her work in fiction, nonfiction, and scriptwriting, books Corey has edited have won top awards in multiple genres, including memoir, humor, fiction, nonfiction, and military history. She oversees our team of seven editors.
Suanne Laqueur
Director of Production
Suanne Laqueur manages DartFrog's production team and is the author of multiple award-winning books, including An Exaltation of Larks (grand-prize winner, Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards), and A Small Hotel (Foreword Indies Book of the Year).
Georgia McClellan
Director of Marketing
Georgia manages DartFrog's social media strategy and content calendar, email marketing, author influencer campaigns, podcast tours, and award submissions.
Sadie Hassman
Director of Proofreading
Sadie Hassman manages the team of proofreaders who are the final eyes on every manuscript we publish through DartFrog. She brings a highly detailed eye to the task of polishing a manuscript before it is sent out into the world.
Amy Bachelder
Author Experience Manager
Amy is the former Managing Editor of North Light Books (prior to its acquisition by Penguin Random House). As DartFrog's Author Experience Manager, she serves as each author's dedicated publishing guide throughout the publishing process. She also leads our children's editorial program and oversees illustration projects.
Tracy Kopsachilis
Canoe Tree Press Cover Designer
Tracy is a professional designer with more than a decade of experience creating book covers for independent authors and publishers. In addition to her work with DartFrog, she is a Graphic Designer and Content Creation Specialist with Samsung Electronics America. Tracy designs the covers for books published through Canoe Tree Press.
Simona Meloni
Interior Design & Formatting
Simona Meloni is DartFrog's interior book designer and formatter. All DartFrog projects, from hybrid to traditional to assisted self-pub, flow through Simona.
Louie Martin
Amazon Optimization
Louie Martin manages the Amazon optimization research for every book published by DartFrog, a process that is designed to help each book achieve full algorithmic engagement to reach as wide an audience of readers as possible.
Ma Nick
Website Designer
Ma Nick built and maintains the DartFrog website, and builds author websites for DartFrog clients.
Faisal Ali
Full-Stack Developer and SEO Specialist
Faisal Ali is DartFrog’s Full-Stack Developer & SEO Specialist. He builds the front and back end systems that power our operations, including PubBound, Shelf Scout, True Origin, Pocket Plots, Brightleaf Reviews, First Stories Prize, Book Club Prize, and more.
Prachi Vaid
Children's Publishing Associate & Indie Discoveries Community Manager
Prachi was an Editorial Intern in the Children's Publishing Division at Puffin, Penguin Random House India before joining DartFrog. She manages our Indie Discoveries community and assists in DartFrog Kids projects.
